What the Consultations Were
Each consultation was a structured half-day or full-day dialogue, facilitated by youth moderators (including myself), bringing together 50–150 participants at universities, civil society organisations, and public institutions across India and in diaspora hubs.
The methodology was designed to surface genuine youth perspectives — not rehearsed talking points. Participants engaged with live polling, structured deliberation, and open discussion on five disruptions: AI & technology, climate, geopolitics, demographics, and India’s global role.
My Role
As the AI & New Technology theme lead, I designed and facilitated the technology strand of discussions across multiple consultations — and helped train other youth moderators in how to facilitate complex technical conversations with non-expert audiences.
I also synthesised insights from the AI/technology sessions into thematic memos that fed directly into the ‘Our Future India’ policy blueprint — ensuring grassroots voices shaped the final recommendations.
Five Global Disruptions
01
How AI reshapes labour, education, governance, and civic life — and how India can lead responsibly.
02
The intersection of climate justice, India's development goals, and intergenerational equity.
03
India's role in a multipolar world and what strategic autonomy means for the next generation.
04
Leveraging India's youth dividend while building systems that serve an ageing population.
05
India's soft power, diaspora engagement, and positioning as a voice for the Global South.
